Now just a moment to tell you about Madeleine's gran. What a wonderful woman. She is the grandmother out of a storybook... whenever we come home she is waiting at the door, having just baked a treat for us, the house warm and cozy. "Would you like a cup of tea?" She doesn't let me lift a finger! Every night I offer to do the dishes and help her cook but she always says, "No no dear, go and make yourself comfortable!" She makes dinners better than you'd get at a restaurant, heading to the oven to check her apple crumble she baked for dessert as soon as the meal is done. She is absolutely lovely. As are my grandmothers of course! You two are wonderful as well; don't worry -- I have not forgotten you!!!

Found this lovely small, vintage backpack to wear as my purse is hurting my shoulders. |
Enjoy every day. I wish I could have joined you for apple crumble and tea. Thank Gran again for us.
